Part of "The Greatest Generation" my grandfather, Ralph J. Cilento Sr., (Gramps) sacrificed much, as did his fellow GIs, to preserve our sacred democracy. He then returned to his family in the Bronx, NY and worked 2 jobs to ensure they were taken care of. I am proud of his sacrifice and his relationship with me as an adult
