Priscilla Breck Mitchell Mosley 97, of Marietta, GA, died Friday January 29, 2021.
A native of Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late Ruth Finley and Richard Winslow Breck.
She went to La Salle University for Interior Design, in Pennsylvania.
She was a wonderful homemaker and home stylist. Transforming a 200+ year old house into a home in Holliston Massachusetts; building a home in 1969 in the Fox Hills subdivision, and a summer home in Bridgewater Nova Scotia.
She married Richard Isham Mitchell Sr., just out of the Navy from WWII in the middle 1940's. Mitch passed in 1999 from Alzheimer's. "Syl" and their son Rick took an active role with the Cobb County Alzheimer's support groups. During this time, she reconnected with a lifelong family friend Rev. Ronald A Mosley. The two eloped at Moosehead Maine in 2001 They were together till his death on January 28, 2016. She was an active member of several groups with St. Peter and St Paul in Marietta Georgia
Survivors include: her sister Nancy Huey of Rochester New York, Her daughter Drucilla Groves, Elgin, TX; Son Richard I. and Jan Coleman-Mitchell, Big Canoe, GA, and Son Pete. and Lorette Mitchell of Marietta; Three grandchildren, Matthew of Montreal Canada, Thomas of Alabama and Jeremiah of Kennesaw, and stepchildren of her marriage to Ron, Kitty Mills of Indiana, Gordon and Connie Mosley, of Maine and Alabama and Ronnie Mosley of Maine. She leaves numerous great grandchildren located across the country as well.
Arrangements will be handled through Marietta Funeral Home and a virtual service available through Zoom on March 6th at 10:00 AM
