Priscilla G. Harper, 74 of Spartanburg, SC passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Priscilla was born November 21, 1947, to the late P.A. Gadsden and Marybell Peterson McDowell.
She was the widow of Thomas L. Harper. She was a member of Majority Baptist Church and was retired from Bi-lo, Inc. where she worked for thirty-nine years as a Manager in the meat/seafood department. She currently was working with Comfort Keepers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, P.A. Gadsden and Marybell Peterson Gadsden, one son, Ian Harper; two sisters, Litha Mae Salley and Lillie Mae McDowell.
She leaves to cherish many memories four daughters, Angelique Harper, Regina (Wayne) Tanner, Yolanda Renee Staley and Sabrina H. (Jermaine) Boyd all of Spartanburg, SC; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Isiah McDowell of Wagner, SC; brother-in-law, Timothy (Annie) Harper; sister-in-law, Veronie (Jimmy) Holloway; godson, Jeffrey (Michelle) Young; goddaughter, Katrina Jones, one nephew, Elvie "Sonny" (Vernell) McDowell of Aiken, SC and a host of nieces, cousins and friends. The family is at the home of her daughter, Regina Tanner, 217 Anita Drive, Spartanburg, SC. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
