Phyllis L. Webster, 89 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Plainfield Health Care in Planfield, Indiana. She was born on November 3, 1930 in Kokomo, Indiana, the daughter of the late John Pearson and Maxine (Fleming) Pearson. Phyllis graduated from Kokomo High School and later earned a degree from the Kokomo Business College. She was a homemaker, a member of the Bethany Baptist Church near Deputy, Indiana and a former volunteer at King's Daughters' Hospital at the front desk. Phyllis also volunteered for the King's Daughter's Hospice program and co-sponsored the surviving spouse group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Webster on May 17, 2002 and a son, Dennis Webster in 1989. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Pendergrass and her husband Danny of Sumner, Texas and Denise Angel and her husband Clyde of Indianapolis, Indiana; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes, cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Graveside services will be private at Bethany Baptist Cemetery with Rev.
