Phyllis M. Rozga

Phyllis May Rozga, age 94, of Burbank, Ohio passed away on January 13, 2024. She was born in Avon Lake, Ohio, on June 18, 1929, and married Joseph S. Rozga, on April 7, 1951. Phyllis was a devoted and loving wife and homemaker. She and Joe moved to Spring Hill, Florida, in 1983, and became active members of St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church. Phyllis will be remembered for her kindness and gentle spirit, her warm smile and selflessness. Phyllis is survived by her nephew, John DeChant, and his wife, Kathy (Burbank, OH) who moved her back to Ohio in 2015 and lovingly cared for her until her passing; niece Jane MacLeod (Don) Nashville, TN; and grandnephews Mark Offenbach and Nick Offenbach; and many brother and sister-in-laws and their families, in both Ohio and Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Rozga in 2014. Visitation will be at 11am with a service at 12pm at Merritt Funeral Home in Spring Hill, Florida. Burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery.
