Phyllis Cantrell, formerly of Hartwell, GA, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Phyllis was a native of Hart county and graduated from Brenau University with a degree in nursing. Phyllis was a Registered Nurse of 40+ years and worked with CareSouth Home Health prior to her retirement in 2005. Phyllis enjoyed reading and playing the piano and the organ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Amzella (Freeman) Cantrell; and sister, Debbie Cantrell. Phyllis is survived by her sister, Lynn Cantrell of Grayson, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Patricia Cantrell of Alpharetta, GA; nephew and wife, Kyle and Leigh Cantrell of Milton, GA; great nephew, Turner Cantrell; numerous family and friends.
