Funeral Service was held Saturday July 3rd, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Morton.
Officiating: Father Ernesto Lopez. Music by: Joe Flores. Interment: Morton Memorial Cemetery in Morton
Under the Direction of: Head Duarte Funeral Home and Staff of Levelland. Visitations & Reflections of Life was held Friday July 2nd, 2021 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland. Rosary was held on Friday July 2nd, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland.

Phillip Manuel Yruegas, was born on Saturday February 12th, 1955, in Littlefield to Nestor & Tomasita Yruegas. He graduated from Muleshoe High School in 1974. He was in the United States Air Force for four years from 1974 to 1978 as a Sgt. Phillip wed Martha Duarte, on September 20th, 1975, and they had two children from this union. He worked over 25 years for BYK Inc. in Carrollton, and several years for Cambridge Lee Co. He enjoyed playing his guitar for his family and friends, cooking outdoors, while listening to old country western music like Willie Nelson, George Straight, he was an advent lover of music. Enjoyed playing pool. He would take his best girl Martha riding on his motorcycle and spend quality time with his son Clyde refurbishing their 1964 Ford Falcon also known as "Booger". Teaching his little girl Shantel how to box. Phillip attended his grandchildren and friend's sports activities. His two dogs were his buddies. Phil, was a straight shooter if he had something to say he'd say it and wouldn't sugar coat it. Liked going on vacation to Panama City Beach, Florida with all of his family every summer. He had special Nick Names for all of his grandchildren. Phil, played and sang in the choir and a member of the men's cursillo movement for several years, a long-time member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, TX. He shall be greatly missed by his family and friends.
