Philip Clay Wolf passed away surrounded by family after a brief illness at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on March 16, 2021. Born July 2, 1956 in Bronxville, NY, he was the son of Stanley and Marcelle (Lowenstein) Wolf. Philip is survived by his wife of 38 years Carol Ann Hutzelman; his children Graham and Clayelle (Cory Sacks); his brothers Peter (Susan) and Ronald. Philip grew up in Yonkers, NY, raised his family in Sherman, CT and actively retired to Truro. Philip received his BA from Duke University and an MBA from Vanderbilt Uni-versity.
With an uncanny knack for predicting future trends, Philip founded PhoCusWright in 1994. There he created, along with his wife Carol, one the most respected travel conference and research suppliers in the world. Philip served as board director and advisor to multiple travel and technolo-gy companies, and was treasurer of the Pamet Yacht Club in Truro.
