WILLIAMS, Peter Eldridge - Retiree of Petro-Canada After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Peter passed away December 4, 2011 at St. Michael's Hospital with family by his side. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend Joan (Allen) and his very loved daughters Alison (Terry Brown) and Melissa. Poppy will be sadly missed by his five "grandboys": Taylor, Ryan, Cole, Sam and Liam. Peter was born and raised in Verdun, Quebec, where he was honoured as a citizen of the year in 1964 for his contributions to youth and sport. Peter was predeceased by his parents William and Hilda (Eldridge) and brothers Fred and Bill and by his infant son Paul Michael. Sincere appreciation to the CCAC Palliative Care team and St. Michael's Hospital Palliative Care unit. Funeral mass will be held at Corpus Christi Church, 16 Lockwood Rd. (corner of Queen Street East), at 12 p.m. on Friday, December 9th with a one hour visitation prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Michael's Hospital Palliative Care unit or to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care.
