Stuart, Florida - Peter Kouklamanis 69, Husband of Anastasia, (Ntaivis) Kouklamanis died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Treasure Coast Hospice with his wife by his side.
Born in Athens Greece, he was the son of the late Fotios and Panagiota (Perotis) Kouklamanis and brother of the late Demitrios Zorgianos. He was raised in Greece, served in the Greek army and immigrated to the United States in 1973 settling in Peabody Massachusetts.
Mr. Kouklamanis received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and his master's degree in Software Engineering from Lowell University in Massachusetts.
Mr. Kouklamanis worked for Digital Equipment Corporation (name changed to Compaq and later HP), from 1983 until 2004. He also taught Computer Science at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill Massachusetts and at North Shore Community College in Danvers Massachusetts. In 2004 he retired and moved to Stuart Florida from Danvers Massachusetts.
Peter loved traveling, the ocean, fishing, card games, gardening and he was a champion kite flyer, winning many awards. He was a member of St. John Chrysostom Greek Orthodox Church and for a period of time he served as the treasurer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two step children, Peter Triantafyllos and his wife Jen and Elisavet Triantafillou, a granddaughter Aiva and grandsons Elias and Jaxson, a brother Ernest Kouklamanis and his wife Debbie, his niece Potula Iosua and her husband James, his sister in law Afroditi Zorgianos and many cousins, friends and relatives.
Visitations will be on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 11am to 12 noon, with a service at noon, at St. John Chrysostom Greek Orthodox Church in Hobe Sound. Committal services are private at the convenience of the Family.
