Peter J. Kavali, Jr. (Mr. Pete), 79, passed away on August 18, 2021. His daughters, Dr. Carmen Kavali and Toni Kavali Santoro, their respective husbands Erik Van Name and Todd Santoro, his grandchildren and other family members and friends remain to carry on his legacy.
Daddy was a self-made man and entrepreneur who served his country in the Air Force, wonderfully loyal, undeniably cranky and stubborn at times and forever our friend. He loved to read, his favorite color was red and he was a proud grandfather to humans and dogs alike.
For the man who peeled endless numbers of oranges for us and was always our biggest fan, we are heartbroken without you.
A short service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 41 Main Street Garden City, on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 12:30pm. A memorial reception will follow at Frank and Linda's Restaurant, 5926 GA-21 South, Rincon, GA, from 2-4pm. All are welcome and encouraged to bring their best memories of our father and to share a bit of laughter and love with us.
In lieu of flowers and in the endearing words of Mr. Pete, just "Have a Fun Day!"
