Pepper Yin Tuen Lai, 82, husband of Kam Wong, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Born on September 23, 1938, in Hong Kong, he was a son of the late Wah-Tong Lai and the late Lin-Mui Lee. Mr. Lai attended Victory Christian Fellowship and was an engineer. With a creative mindset, Mr. Lai made several inventions and was a successful entrepreneur. Mr. Lai enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three children, Jason Lai (Amanda) of Atlanta, Tristan Lai (Daun) of San Antonio, TX and Cathryn Lai of Chicago, IL; and nine grandchildren, Alex, Leo, Logan, Lauren, Lindsey, Rose, Emma, Erin and Ella.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
