Peggy Jo Rauch, 66, of DuBois and formerly of Curwensville, passed away Friday evening, June 3, 2022 at the Shippenville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Shippenville, PA.Born January 28, 1956 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Alex and Dorothy (Wisor) Sabol. She was a 1973 Graduate of Curwensville Area High School. Ms. Rauch had been a seamstress for Kent Sportswear, had been a laborer for both Hawbaker and New Enterprise Construction Companies and most recently had been a personal caregiver. She was United Methodist by Faith.Surviving is her beloved dog "Gizmo", siblings Dorothy "Honey" Wilsoncroft and Alexander "Mick" Sabol and wife Bonnie both of Curwensville and Debra Jenkins and husband Ray of Sandy Ridge. Also surviving are nieces and nephews: Stacy and Amy; Erina and Eddie; Shawn and Donnie; and Kacy as well as an Aunt Norma Kukla pf Philipsburg.She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Donald Sabol and an infant sister Vickie Sabol.Funeral Services for Peggy Jo Rauch will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Jimmy Hopper officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Byzantine Catholic Cemetery in Hawk Run, PA.Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 PM.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either: the Clearfield County SPCA, 275 21st St., Clearfield, PA 16830; Orphan of the Storm, 412 Hill Street, Curwensville, PA 16833, or Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic, 1380 Shawville Hwy, Woodland, PA 16881.Online condolences may be made to the family at www.chidboyfuneralhome.com.
