Peggy Lou (Montague) Pletcher, 93, Valley Grove, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. She was born November 6, 1927 in Somerfield, PA, a daughter of Benjamin and Eva (Miller) Montague. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Donald Eugene Pletcher; daughters, Debbie Sue Calmbacher (Guy Patrick), Triadelphia, WV and Donna Lou Smith (Clyde), Confluence, PA; grandchildren, Carla Lou Lytle, Connellsville, PA, Clyde Jason Smith, Confluence, Kelly Marcellus (Jeff), Valley Grove, and Patricia Hicks (Garrett), Wheeling, WV; great grandchildren, Dennis Lytle, Morgantown, WV, Sadie Marie Guynn, Connellsville, Jarek Marcellus, Bellaire, OH, Kalvin, Kamdin, and Fenix Marcellus, Valley Grove, Gage, Gemma and Gentry Hicks, Wheeling; great great grandson, Meyko Avery Lytle, Morgantown; sister-in-law, Ginger Montague, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her death were brothers, Forrest, Paul and Robert Montague, sister, Goldie Adams and a precious great-grandchild, Terra Grace Hicks. Peggy was a member of Washington First Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School, and helped with Junior Church, Caravan and V.B.S. She volunteered at the blind school and at Middle Creek Elementary School. She was a personal aide and friend to many doctors' families in Wheeling. She loved their children and enjoyed spending time with them as well as her own grandchildren. She inspired them to follow their dreams. She also enjoyed her dog, Prince, who never left her side. At Peggy's request, there will be no viewing or funeral service at this time. The family will have a private service at a later date. Interment in Addison Cemetery.
