Peggy Jo Pflugh (Beane), 83, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls.
Peggy was born May 4, 1938 to Pell and Ethel Beane in Gilmer County, WV.
She is preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings and their spouses: Wendell & LaGretta Beane, Bill & Wynona Bergdorf, George & Brenadine Mowery, Alonzo & Jean Beane and Robert & Kreida Stacy.
She is survived by her children, Jason Pflugh and Joie Mowry, her grandchildren, Jordyn & Mitchell Pflugh, many cousins, nieces & nephews, great nieces & great nephews, great-great nieces & great-great nephews and many dear friends.
Peggy graduated with the Class of 1956 from Hudson High School. She worked at Morgan Adhesives, the City of Tallmadge and retired from the City of Cuyahoga Falls. After retirement, Peggy enjoyed working at Ritchie's Sporting Goods in Tallmadge.
Peggy's hobbies were crocheting, sewing, cornhole bags, refinishing furniture, antiquing, thrift store shopping, garage sale-ing and traveling. There's nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family and friends, especially camping, making jam, driving & riding in her Roush Mustang and of course, hosting her annual karaoke party.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 West Market St, Fairlawn, 44333. Visitations will be on Friday, November 5, 2021, 4-7pm & Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 10am with the Memorial Service on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11am. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made in Peggy's name to Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls.
