Pearlie Ann Patterson Cole, age 69 of Friendsville passed away January 29, 2022. Pearlie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was active in her community working with children such as Cub Scouts and military families. Pearlie was a Family Readiness Group Leader for the Tennessee Army National Guard for 10 years. She was also active in First Baptist Church in Lenoir City as a Greeter who liked to hug everyone she greeted, even unsuspecting strangers. Preceded in death by her parents, Finley and Cordelia Patterson; sisters, Bertha Edwards, Louise Sylvester, Wanda Walker, Maxine Henderson, and Rainey Goddard; brothers, Billy Patterson, Archie Patterson, and Fred Patterson. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Cole; children and spouses: Kim and Ernie Johnson, Joey Wilson, Roxana and Eric Moser, Michael D. and Wendy Cole, and Lisa and Jerod Rains; grandchildren: Trinity Cole, Jonas Cole and Dylan Moser; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Janette Patterson of Clinton; sister-in-law, Patricia Greene (Ralph); brother-in-law, Steve Cole (Debbie); sisters-in-law, Brenda Cole, and Charlene Patterson; brothers-in-law, Benny Henderson and Glenn Goddard along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 4th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 5th at First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Dr. Dick DeMerchant and Pastor Steve Gamble will officiate. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 7th at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Governor John Sevier Highway in Knoxville for graveside services with Dr. John Hunn officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
