Pearl Loretta Lewis-Fairchild joined our Lord and Savior on May 17th 2022. She was born 92 years ago on April 27, 1930 to Edward and Jewel Newton in Harrison, Idaho. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, her husband Dorsey Lewis of 53 years and her second husband Arvel Fairchild of 12 years. She is survived by her sister Julie Hurlburt, her brother-in-law Norman Lewis and two stepchildren, John and Anne Marie Fairchild. Pearl had such a zest for life. She lived a life of faith and inspired others with her warm smile and friendly conversations. She called herself an "Old Farm Girl", making every penny count and never wasting food or supplies. Living her final five years in the countryside, Pearl enjoyed long walks, rainstorms, reading in her lawn swing, picking wild berries and listening to the birds. She was an avid Gonzaga Bulldog Basketball fan and never missed a Seahawk game on TV. She loved cooking, baking, camping, travelling and spending time with her Shih Tzu, Dakota. If she felt like dancing, she would dance no matter where she was. Pearl's pride and joy were her two daughters, Donna Lewis and Mary Kay Peppers and her son Tim Lewis. Days of joy were spent by her with her seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Pearl will be tearfully missedundefinedbut never forgotten. Heaven has gained an Angel.
