Pauline Ann (Cook) Chorley, 80, of Pace, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 19, 2022 at the Covenant Care Hospice in Pensacola Florida after a long-term health condition.
Pauline was born in Petoskey, Michigan on March 23, 1941 to the late Walter and Arda (Jolls) Cook. She was a graduate of Harbor Springs High School, and worked as the Secretary at the Cooperative Extension Service, Telephone Operator at Michigan Bell Telephone Company and retired with the Federal Government Farmers Home Administration with 30 years of service. Her favorite hobbies included golf, country line dancing, knitting and really enjoyed reading. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Eternal Trinity Lutheran Church, Grace Lutheran Church. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Arda, brother George Cook, and sisters Artemissia (Artie) Bennington and Jean Donner and Nephew David Donner. She is the much-loved mother of sons, Karl and Nicky Adams of Lake City FL; Steve and Paula Adams of New Bern, NC, Cherished Grandmother of, Tyler Adams, Matthew Adams, Hannah Adams, Parker Adams (Hailey), Hayden Adams and Maddison Adams. Dear Sister of Bert and Nancy Cook of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, and Brothers in Law Ron Bennington and Bob Donner. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
At Pauline's request, her body has been donated to Science Care for the advancement of science. The family suggests that if you would like to do something in Pauline's memory, a donation is recommended to the American Lung Association or your local Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for later this year in Harbor Springs, Michigan.
