Pauline B. Tommie (Walbert) Schantz, 94, of Pennsburg died October 17, 2013. Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Clara (Fretz) Walbert. She was the widow of the late Herbert Herbie Schantz. She was a meat wrapper for the former Shislers Market and retired from the former B&H Market. Tommie was a lifelong member St. Marks Lutheran Church, Pennsburg, American legion Post 184 and the East Greenville Fire Company Ladies Auxilliary.
Survivors: She is survived by her children, Bruce and his wife Tatjana and Mary Lou Brey and her companion Charles Kercher both of Pennsburg; a brother Bobby Walbert; sisters, Shrimpy Prutsman, Betty Rohrback and Jane Englert; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Conrad and 11 brothers and sisters.
Services: will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 81 North Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Interment will follow at St. Marks Lutheran Cemetery.
