Paul H Zimmerman

Paul H Zimmerman passed peacefully on August 13, 2021 in Port St. Lucie, Fl.

He was married to Jane (Sarmir) Zimmerman with whom he celebrated 34 years of marriage.

Born in North Boston, New York, Paul was the son of the late Glen and Mary (Andera) Zimmerman.

He was a graduate of Hamburg High School and State University of New York where he received his associate degree in Applied Science majoring in mechanical technology.

Paul faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

He retired from the Allentown Housing Authority as Executive Director in 1991.

Upon retirement he loved the game of golf and watching his baseball team the Florida Marlins. He also enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by sons Michael(Nancy) of Mesa, Az., Donald (Helen) of Bethlehem, Pa., Paul (Dora) of Newport News, Va. Daughters Lynn Paine(Leo) of Manheim, Pa., Suzan (John) Schaffer of Bethlehem, Pa and Sandra (Jeff) Wambold of Macungie, Pa., Brother David (Esther) of Davenport, Fl., 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by Carol (wife) and Hugh(brother) Zimmerman.

Celebration of his life will be at the convenience of the family.
