Paul Walter Vallee Sr., 87, of Upper Rogers Hill Road in West Newbury went to be with his loving wife, Anna Mae Theresa (Van-Houten) Vallee on Sunday, November 30th at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, after a short fight with declining health.
He was born January 10, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY the son of William and Lyida (St. Martin) Vallee. The family made their home in the farm lands of Central New Jersey. He would marry his wife of 56 years Anna Mae, build a house, and raise their son, Paul Vallee Jr.
Mr. Vallee was a Korean War veteran serving from 1951-1952. He worked for Kimberly-Clark for 31 years. After retiring, he built his second dream home on Upper Rogers Hill Road in West Newbury, where he enjoyed many years sitting on his front porch looking at the mountains of VT and NH with family and his many cousins. He was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bradford, VT, where he volunteered in many activities.
He is survived by his son, Paul Vallee Jr. of Marathon, FL, granddaughters, Bonnie Lynn and Crystal-Ann of Brick, NJ, a brother and sister-in-law, John and Jennie Van-Houten, cousins, Mike and Susan Disbrow of Davie, FL, and many cousins in the area. He is preceded in death by a sister, Doris Karpinski.
Services and burial in Sawyer Cemetery in Bradford, VT will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Upper Plain, Bradford, VT. Arrangements are by Hale Funeral Home in Bradford, VT.
