Paul Leonard Steinke, 78 passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in Odessa, Tx. He was born on Sunday, August 18, 1946, in Schenectady, New York to Adolph Leonard Steinke and Helene Marie (Ernst) Steinke. He married his beautiful bride Carole Jean Livingston on May 27, 1971 in Seminole, Texas.
Paul was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He was a member of Crossroads Fellowship and a coach with Special Olympics for 18 years as well as a member of a local bowling league. Paul was an electrician and started his own electrical company, C & P Electric Inc. He was also a proud US Air Force Veteran, after he served 2 tours in Vietnam and a total of 7 years in the Air force. Paul was an amazing man to have known, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his wife, Carole Steinke of Odessa, son, Jeffrey Steinke of Odessa, brother Roger Steinke of Petawawa, Ontario Canada, sisters, Janet Hewitt of Spokane, WA, Ruth Poellot of Tully, NY and Lois Koenig of East Syracuse, NY.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Helene Marie Steinke.
Visitation will begin at 11 am - 6 pm, Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Acres West funeral Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for 9 am, Monday, December 2, 2024 at Acres West Funeral Chapel, burial will follow at Gaines County Memorial Cemetery in Seminole Texas.
