It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved husband Paul R Hoefle and devoted
father on June 9th, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving wife Shirley Hoefle, of 70 years, and his 9 children. He was a humble, kind and a devoted servant to God.
He was 95 years old. Born in Euclid,Ohio on 12/13/28. He attended Brush High School. After graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army. He served in the infantry for four months and requested a transfer to become a Paratrooper during the Korean War.
His passion was carpentry, roller skating and camping with his family. He was a carpenter for 34 years and then retired. He continued his carpentry skills with side jobs helping the church, friends, and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Marie Hoefle and daughter Lu Ann.
Survived by his loving wife Shirley of 70 years, son Joseph of Georgia, Michael of Ohio, Susan (Denver) of Georgia, Joan (Robert) of Florida, Donna (Rich) of Ohio, Mark of Ohio, Ann (Kerry) of Ohio, and Dorrine (Dave) of Texas.
He has 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM Friday, June 28, 2024 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1676 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd. in Copley, where friends may call from 10-11AM in the church. A memorial luncheon will be provided after the service in the parish hall.
