Paul Carson Eubanks, 80, of Jefferson, SC passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 21, 1943, in Jefferson, SC to the late Bundy Eubanks and Stella Belk Eubanks. Paul's life was a testament to the values of dedication, family, and service. He is predeceased by his son, Martin "Marty" Paul Eubanks; sister, Shirley Crook (James Crook) and brothers, Wayland Eubanks, Sr. (Kathleen) and Jake Eubanks. Paul's journey began as the cherished son of his Jefferson-based family, and he grew up to become a man of strong convictions and gentle spirit. His life was shared with his beloved wife of 59 years, Gail Eubanks, and together they built a life rich in love and laughter. Paul was the proud grandfather of Bryce and Karley, and their mother, Shannon Eubanks and Abby Eubanks and Lydia Smith, and their mother, Andrea Eubanks. His role as a brother was deeply valued by Robert L. Eubanks of Conover, NC and he was an adored uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Paul's work as a truck driver was more than a profession; it was a reflection of his passion for the open road and the sense of freedom it provided. His dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to his country, as he served honorably in the National Guard. A man of diverse interests, Paul found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He coached Dixie Youth Baseball while watching and coaching his son Marty play. He was an avid fan of watching his grandchildren participate in their activities, taking great pride in their achievements and growth. Westerns captivated his imagination, and the music of the Gaithers touched his soul, resonating with his deep faith. Gardening was not just a hobby for Paul; it was a way to connect with the earth and to nurture life, mirroring the way he nurtured his relationships. In his younger days he loved be the outdoors, enjoying nature, raising his goats and playing with his tractors mowing his grass. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Fork Creek United Methodist Church in Jefferson, SC with Rev. Duane Stegall and Rev. Shad Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends following the Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fork Creek United Methodist Church, C/O Linda Plyler, 404 J.L.
