Douglas A. Fiery
Paul Reuben Diller , 86, of Greencastle, PA, passed away, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at his home.
Born Tuesday, January 25, 1938, in Greencastle, PA, he was the son of the late Amos Henry Diller and the late Fannie H. (Risser) Diller. He was preceded in death by his first wife Fannie N. (Burkholder) Diller in 2004.
He was a member of Paradise Mennonite Church for many years.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Elizabeth Diller; daughter, Judith Ann Horst and husband Harold of Hagerstown, MD, son, Ronald Lynn Diller at home, son, Robert Lee Diller and wife Karen of Hagerstown, MD, son, Kevin Dean Diller at home, daughter, Kathleen Faye Diller at home, son-in-law, Rufus Daniel Martin and wife Erma of Martinsburg, WV, brother, Mahlon R. Diller of Hagerstown, MD, sister, Eunice R. Petre of Greencastle, PA, sister, Esther R. Martin and husband Elam of Greencastle, PA, thirty grandchildren and forty nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ellen Martin, (wife of Rufus Martin), brothers, Jacob R. Diller and Mark R. Diller, sisters, Miriam R. Horst and Rhoda R. Petre.
Services will be held Monday, July 8, 2024, at 10:00 am, at the Paradise Mennonite Church, Paradise Church Road Hagerstown, MD, with the church ministry officiating.
Family will receive friends at Paradise Mennonite Church on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Interment will be at the Paradise Mennonite Church Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.
