Paul Wayne Caudill, 74, passed away at Community East Hospital on December 16, 2021. He was born on July 15, 1947, in Sturgis, KY to Samuel O. and Hazel M. (Heflin) Caudill. In November 1965, he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. Paul served his country until May 1969, serving during Vietnam. On April 12, 1975, he married his love, Mary Ann Walden.
Paul worked on the shipping docks for Indianapolis Kroger Bakery for 45 years, before retiring in 2015. He was part of their BCT Local 372. Paul was a member of the Greenfield Legion, Post 119. He loved to read and complete crossword puzzles.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Mary of 46 1/2 years; their children: Frances Clark and Nathan Caudill; 3 grandchildren: Autumn Caudill, Olivia Clark, and Brooklyn Clark; sister-in-law, Carol Caudill; and several nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Caudill; mother, Hazel Hanks; son, Christian Clark; and all of his siblings, 15 total.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the service immediately following at 3:00 p.m., all at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard, Post 119, will be conducting funeral honors during Paul's service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Angel Tree Foundation, c/o Kroger Bakery.
