Patsy Bailey Loy
July 11, 1934 - May 2, 2024
Patsy Bailey Loy was born in Knoxville Tennessee July 11, 1934 to Paul and Waneta Bailey.
She met and then married James Loy on June 30, 1952. They served as a pastoral family after his call to Christian ministry. They served thousands of individuals in 3 different states until his passing in 1997.
Tricia, as she was lovingly known, was preceded in death by her husband Dr James Loy; parents Paul and Waneta Bailey; siblings Harry Bailey and Beverly Bailey White (John White).
She has two daughters, Karen (Eugene) Bundren and Kimberly Parker. Grandchildren Kealey Bundren Simmons, Meredith Shea Bundren, Stone Alan Parker and Cole Jameson Parker: and great granddaughter Kennedy Suzanne Simmons.
Larry Bailey (Mary Bailey) is her only surviving sibling.
Tricia has many nieces and nephews.
Her life was one of Christian service, family commitment and living in some beautiful places from Florida to California to North Carolina, but she loved East Tennessee, her home.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 5PM until 7PM with the funeral service to follow at 7PM in the Claiborne - Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Overholt and Rev. Bill Duncan officiating.
Graveside services will be Monday, May 6, 2024 at 11AM in the Strawberry Plains Cemetery In Strawberry Plains Tennessee with Rev. Bill Duncan officiating.
