On March 06, 2021 Patsy Lou Collins DePrang (age 92) was joyously received into heaven by her Lord and Savior. A graveside service was held at (11:00 AM) (Friday) (March 12, 2021) at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas.
Patsy was born on December 10, 1928 in Coleman, Texas to Herman Dewey and Lula Mabel Smith Collins. She lived her young life in Coleman, Texas and graduated from Coleman High School in 1946. Patsy always loved animals, especially cats and always had at least one by her side. Patsy also had a passion for World War Il airplanes. She never had the opportunity to serve in the Air Force but she was acquainted with many young pilots at a flight training school in Coleman, Texas (The Flight Line, Coleman Field, Texas). She could hear one of those planes in the distance and tell you exactly what type of World War Il plane it was before it was in sight. She loved to study and watch these planes and was a loyal participant of the CAF while it was based in Midland.
Patsy married Oscar Lex "Bunk" DePrang on September 13, 1947 and moved to Midland, Texas the very next day. Her life in Midland was full with family, friends and a small business she and her husband operated. Patsy was a homemaker and always giving to her family and especially dedicated to her two daughters. She was proud to call Midland her home for almost 70 years and will be greatly missed by many.
Survivors are two daughters: Delinda Lou DePrang McConnell (Jerry) from Comanche, Texas and Diane Collins DePrang from Gatesville, Texas.
