Patrick F. O'Donnell, 65; of Bayonne, NJ, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 21st, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. After high school, Patrick enlisted and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1974 - 1978. Pat worked for ICI, Onyx and Verizon before venturing off and starting his own company, Phone Jacks Or Better, LLC, which he continued to work and run until his retirement. During his retirement, Patrick enjoyed spending time at the YMCA, where he met and made new friends, he also enjoyed walking to the park with his dog Buddy in tow. Patrick especially loved spending time with his sisters and grandchildren, fishing with his son, and hosting parties, where he had the opportunity to spend time with his entire family whom he loved so much. He also spent time visiting his Marine Corps brother Smitty in Fort Myers. Patrick was admired by many for his unshakable demeanor, quick wit, and appreciation of the simple things. Until his untimely passing, his true passion was his dedication to his wife Patti, they spent their time nestled at home together while trying to solve jigsaw puzzles. Patrick was the true definition of "The Rock" of the family. Patrick is survived by his wife Patricia (Nee: Mazzucca) of Bayonne, NJ; son Matthew O'Donnell and his wife Eileen of Bloomingdale, NJ, daughter Staycee Barreto and her wife Noemi. Loving Pop Pop of two beautiful granddaughters, Brianne and Audrey. Cherished Brother of Judith Dobies and her husband Mark, Deborah Whitney and her husband Michael, and Sandy O'Donnell. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Anne (Nee: McMahon) and Francis O'Donnell, brothers James, David and surviving wife Larissa, Dennis and his surviving wife Diane. Patrick also leaves behind many nieces & nephews, who all have special stories of Uncle Pat. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 26th from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 PM at the G. Keenen O'Brien Funeral Home, 984 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ, 07002. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, July 27th at 10 AM at Saint Vincent's Church, Bayonne.
