Patricia Anne Franklin Regan entered the presence of the Lord on January 12, 2025.
She was born on July 28, 1939 in Dallas, TX to George and Helen Franklin. She married William Regan in 1959 in Dallas.
A talented and award winning artist, her paintings have been displayed in galleries and art shows around the nation and in private corporate and personal collections. She had a passion for teaching and encouraging young artists and mentoring many in their creative journey.
She had a deep and abiding love for the Lord and was a long time member of First United Methodist Church, upholding her commitment with service as a Sunday School and Bible Study leader and serving on the Gallery Committee.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother Helen Beckman Franklin and father George McCarty Franklin, and her brothers, Lawrence McCarty Franklin and Steven Montgomery Franklin.
She was survived by her husband of 65 years, William Marion Regan, who passed away shortly following her death.
She is currently survived by her children Greg and his wife Beverly, Ken and his wife Tiffany, and daughter Denise and by her much beloved grandchildren, Rachael McLoughlin, Kaitlyn Domenico, Russell Regan and Jacob Regan and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by her sister, Gayle Horn.
A service of remembrance to celebrate the lives of Patricia and William will be held on March 1, 2025 at 11 a.m at First United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. A reception will follow the service in the church's Atrium.
In memory of Patricia, the family invites you to honor her love for the Scottish Rite for Children Hospital with a contribution in lieu of flowers.
