Patricia "Patty" Mae Vasseur, age 64, passed away on December 27, 2024. She was born on July 20, 1960, to Daniel and Shirley (Schlueter) Imholte.
Patty's greatest dream was to be a mother, and after marrying Paul Martin Vasseur, she was blessed with four beautiful children: Christina, Heidi, Joseph, and Rachel. Patty was immensely proud of her children; she never missed a single one of their activities while they were growing up and celebrated every milestone in their adult years. Her heart of gold and selfless, caring nature touched all who knew her. Despite the many tragedies she faced in life, Patty always maintained a positive attitude, starting each day with a "joyful heart."
Patty learned the value of hard work early in life, which led to her fulfilling career at PCiRoads (formerly PCi). She was dedicated and passionate about her work and was beloved by her colleagues.
In her spare time, Patty enjoyed walking, crafting, and creating handmade cards, which she sold at the Monticello Farmers Market. Patty was also deeply devoted to her faith, starting each morning with a scripture.
Patty is survived by her daughters, Christina, Heidi, and Rachel (Danny Caldwell); her parents, Dan and Shirley Imholte; her sister, Linda (Pat) McComb; her brother, Tim (Jane) Imholte; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her family at PCiRoads. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and son, Joseph, as well as other family members.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at KOZLAK RADULOVICH MAPLE GROVE CHAPEL (13745 Reimer Dr., Maple Grove) with visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow. Interment will be at 2:30 PM at ORONO CEMETERY (18414 Boston St NW, Elk River). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA).
