Patricia Duane Mobley, also known as Pat, 80, of Midlothian, TX, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, in Richardson, TX. Pat was born November 3, 1941, in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Carl Gross and Norma McDaniel (Mickey Averitt). She grew up in Oak Cliff, TX, and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School. Afterwards, she attended East Texas State. She enjoyed a long, successful career in the title business, retiring after more than 50 years in the industry. Pat married the love of her life, Jimmy Mobley, in 1974. They built their home in Cedar Hill, TX, where they raised their family and served the community. Pat was involved in countless organizations such as WCR, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, to name a few, and was a long-time supporter of many other organizations in and around the City of Cedar Hill. She was a loving wife, proud mom and Mimi. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Carl "Butch" Gross; her son, Ricky Purifoy; her beloved husband, James F. "Jimmy" Mobley. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Purifoy, Sherri Purifoy-Frie, Melissa Schuelke and husband, Lance Schuelke; grandchildren, Brandon Purifoy, Shandi Purifoy Sanders, Madisen Purifoy-Frie, Tristan Purifoy-Frie, Caleb Schuelke, Colby Schuelke and Luke Schuelke; several precious great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a niece, nephew, cousins, numerous lifelong friends and her loyal golden retriever companion, Missy. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Midlothian Bible Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scottish Rite for Children or the Cedar Hill Education Foundation.
