Patricia Jane Jones (nee Meyers) "Pat", age 84 of Canton, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at St. Joseph Care Center. She was born in Barberton, OH on October 14, 1937 to the late Edward and Albina (Manning) Meyers. Pat was a true lover of animals, with a great fondness for dogs and horses. At a young age, she was drawn away to the West and spent some years living in Wyoming where she was active on the rodeo circuit as a roper. She later returned to Ohio, marrying George D. Jones and settling down with his three children and three children of their own. In addition to her parents; she is preceded in death by her brother, Edward "Bill" William Meyers, sister, Linda (Thompson) Meyers, and step-son, Jeffrey Jones. She is survived by her children, Cassandra (Dan Block), Jennifer (Doug Adams), and Gretchen (Derek Nichols), step-children, DeJane Hussey, and Paty Steward, beloved grand-children, Gabriel, Gillian, and Audrey, step-grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Ashley, Erica, and Jesse, and brothers, Joseph and Jeffrey Meyers. There are no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either St. Joseph Care Center or St. Joseph Indian School (give.stjo.org). Arrangements entrusted to the Mark R.
