Patricia Ann Humphreys (nee Bond), 89 of Kenneth City, passed away on September 8, 2022, formerly of Revere, MA and Windsor Locks, CN. She was the daughter of the late Mabel Keach Bond of North Troy, VT, an RN at the MGH in Boston, later in the employ of eminent cardiologist Paul Dudley White; and the late Gerald E. Bond, an attorney who served with the division of employment for the state of MA and the owner of Woodrest Camps, Waterville, ME, who was the moving legislative force for the establishment of the Veterans Cemetery in Augusta, ME, and a past commander of the American Legion post 140 in Belgrade, ME. Patricia's beloved dog, Brownie, was one of the first military war dogs in 1942.
Patricia was a graduate of Immaculate Conception HS, Revere, MA, and Westfield State Teachers College, MA, where she excelled in women's athletics, graduating with a BSE. She taught in Windsor, CT, Lynnfield, MA, Plymouth, VT and Pinellas Park, FL.
She married in 1958, coming to Florida with her husband in 1961. Patricia is predeceased by her son Stephen A. Humphreys. Survived by her husband of 64 years, The Most Reverend John J., Pastor of Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Pinellas Park, by her daughter Mary Patricia Hansford (Clarence) of Pinellas Park, daughter Jacqueline Baron (Richard), of St. Petersburg, and her cousin Margaret Mary Moore, VA.
A visitation will be held Thursday September 15th at 10 am with a service to follow at 11 am at Our Lady of Good Hope Church at 5501 62nd Avenue North. Pinellas Park, Fl . 33709.
