On December 23, 2020, Patricia Hasenjaeger, 94 passed away into eternal peace. Her funeral will be held at St Matthews Catholic Church at 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway in Charlotte on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1 p.m. The ceremony will be private. However, friends are invited to celebrate her life with the funeral mass being made available on YouTube December 30 through January 13, 2021. Search "Patricia Hasenjaeger Tribute" on YouTube.
Patricia was born in St Louis, Missouri to John and Anna Farrell. She sang frequently on the University of St. Louis radio station and for the USO during World War II. She worked in insurance until her marriage in 1948. She was an avid bridge player, Red Cross Volunteer and St. Matthews Catholic Church communicant.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Lawrence, and her infant son, Robert. She was a devoted wife and mother, treasuring her family above all else. She is survived by her loving children, Richard Hasenjaeger (Rebecca), Diane Hale (Barry), Lynda Broome (Harry), Pam Cook (Mike), John Hasenjaeger (Celeste) and Cathy Peters (Greg), nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
She was greatly loved, and no words can express how greatly she will be missed. Her bright light and sweet smile live on with us in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital in her memory. Family is in the care of Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel.
