Patricia Cook Dunham passed away on Dec 31, 2021, she was 87 years old. Pat, as she was affectionately known, lived a full rich life.
Pat was an only child born on March 24, 1934, to Jim and Ruth Wyatt Cook of Tallahassee. She was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee and attended Leon High School. She married James (Jeep) Newton Dunham in 1957.
Pat worked in the GM office in Tallahassee for many years. Upon retirement from GM, she and her husband Jeep traveled the world seeing many of the sights most of us can only dream about.
After Jeeps passing, she then went to work for two enrolled agents in Tallahassee, Ann Carpenter and Gloria Priest. During her time working in that office, she turned down working with a computer saying that she would never have one in her house. Occasionally Pat could be a bit stubborn. Several years later she finally changed her mind and got a computer. She enjoyed staying in touch via emails and text with her many friends.
Pat loved reading books, having Sunday night dinners with friends, and playing bridge.
Pat is survived by her family members, Mary Ann (Tom) Holliday of East Dublin, GA and Regina (Raymond) Fitzpatrick of Martin, Georgia. She is also survived by many old and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, please do an unsolicited kind act for someone in need and make a charitable donation to Big Bend Hospice or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Every time you start thinking about Pat, smile and drink a double shot of vodka in her memory.
Graveside Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road.
