Patricia "Patti" Rae Dodds

Patricia "Patti" Rae (Salden) Dodds was born to Ray and Marlys Salden on July 8, 1954. She lived in Mound her entire life.

Patti and Bruce met on Oct. 2, 1971. They were married on June 16, 1973, married for 51 years. Patti and Bruce had 3 wonderful sons they raised.

Patti was an involved, amazing and loving mother. Her 3 boys adored her. Patti's greatest joy was becoming a grandmother to her precious Izabella. They did so many things together in the short time Patti had with Iza.

Patti and Bruce owned Mound True Value together for 37 years. The store absolutely has Patti's personality. She was our leader when it came to customer satisfaction.

Besides family, Patti enjoyed traveling, boating on Lake Minnetonka, concerts, shows and ice cream. Patti also loved her home in Lake Tahoe and living near Lake Tahoe.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Mark.

She is survived by husband Bruce; sons Brandon (Marcella), Brett (Kristin) and Brian; granddaughter Izabella; brohter in laws Roy and Jeff; aunt Jane; nieces, nephews, cousins and her besties.

A celebration of Patti's life will be held from 2-5 PM Saturday, October 12, 2024 at The Gillespie Center, 2590 Commerce Blvd., Mound. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred Westonka food shelf, American cancer society, and Gillespie center.
