Patricia Lee Lomax "Trish" of Felton, DE passed away, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at home. She was 73.
Mrs. Lomax was born May 30, 1951 in Easton, Maryland to the late Thursby Fairbank Cooper and Doris Ball Cooper.
Trish grew up in Bozman, MD and loved swimming, boating and crabbing in the waters of her family home. She attended school in St. Michaels, MD and went on to cosmetology school in Salisbury, MD.
Trish was a successful beautician in Easton. She moved to Dover after marrying her forever love Sonny Lomax. Being a wife and mother to their three children was her greatest joy. Mrs. Lomax worked as an office manager for 16 years, at Culligan Water Conditioning. She retired early to take care of and spend time with her mother. Mrs. Lomax volunteered at the Frederica Senior Center at the front desk where she made friends that became like family. She enjoyed playing the piano and keyboard, cooking, canning, crafting, painting, crocheting, vintage jewelry, and art. She also shared a passion for geocaching with her husband, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She also found great joy in her fur babies Missy and Freda.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and her brother Thursby F. Cooper Jr. of Easton and a nephew Andrew Cooper.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Roland "Sonny" Lomax, Jr. of Felton; children, Lisa Hayes and her husband Danny of Wittman, MD, Roland Lomax, III of Smyrna, DE and Lynn Gray and her husband Supoch of Dover; grandchildren, Brandi Covey (Rocky), Angie Broll (AJ), Ryan Penrod (Andrea), Danielle Hayes (Kyle Barrow), Brenda Lomax (Drew Wagner), Shannon Penrod, Roland Lomax IV, Madison Lomax, Ayla Turner and Brody Lomax; great grandchildren, Jake Covey, Peyton Broll, Kent Covey, Drake Barrow, Cooper Broll, Jackson Penrod, Thea Penrod; Nieces Pam Schultz, Diana Abbott, Sally Schultz, Amanda Cooper and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held 2PM, Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Bozman United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ruby Harrison Rd., Bozman, Maryland. Bishop G. Keith Maxwell will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to; Frederica Senior Center, 216 S. Market Street, Frederica, DE 19946.
