Patricia Ann Borel passed away peacefully on December 25, 2023, in Port Arthur, Texas.
She was born on June 6, 1940, in Kokomo, Ind. to parents, Loyd and Marie Jackson. Patricia found joy in various hobbies and interests. She was an active member of the Christian Woman group and cherished opportunities to engage with others. Patricia loved socializing and would regularly attend lunch gatherings with the "Lunch Bunch." These occasions gave her immense pleasure as she connected with friends over delicious meals. Patricia had a deep love for animals and was particularly fond of her cat named "Menew." An excellent cook, everyone looked forward to her shrimp mold at the Holidays.
Visitation will be Friday, December 29, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Marie Jackson; her loving husband, Ronald Borel; her dear son, Brett Borel, and her brother-in-law, Steve Murray.
Left to carry on Patricia's legacy are her son, Gary Borel and his wife Keli; her daughter, Deziree Stone and her husband, Bruce; her grandchildren, Joshua Borel, Austin Borel, Taylor Borel, Kristopher Borel, Bradley Stone, Colton Stone, and Amanda Stone; as well as her great-grandchildren, McKarsyn Borel and Logan Borel. Patricia is also survived by her half-sister, Jeri; sisters-in-law, Diane Preston and her husband Kyle, Karen Murray; her daughter-in-law, Karen Borel Ball, along with numerous other caring family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Borel, Austin Borel, Taylor Borel, Kristopher Borel, Bradley Stone, and Colton Stone. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Frazier.
Patricia Ann Borel will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
