Patricia Faye Black 83 of Hamilton in Loudoun County VA, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Monday January 8th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Married to Arlyn Kenimer Black for over 60 years, who passed from this life to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Born May 8th, 1940, in Lynchburg VA. to Joe and Hazel Gibbs. A loving, caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, businesswoman, and friend. She was known as a strong woman of faith and a long-time pillar of the Loudoun County community. Known as Mrs. B. to many and Memaw to even more. Pat's get-togethers meant family and friends a plenty would gather at her and Arlyn's home for many joyous occasions of giving and socializing. Her love to give thoughtful gifts knew no bounds! She is survived by her sisters Linda Mathieson, Julie Santos, Bonnie Krumpe, Teresa Churchill, brother Joe Gibbs, four children, Stephanie Black of Hamilton, VA, Arlyn Keith Black of Purcellville, VA, Angela Kolbe of Sterling, VA, and Shelley Lubag of Tega Cay, SC; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchild. She will forever be in our hearts.Please join the family Friday January 19th, 2024, with viewing 10 am to 12 pm with services to follow at 1200 and then a burial at the Sterling Cemetery at 1 pm.
