Pamela Ann Horton Ryals, age 76, passed away Tuesday June 2, 2020 at her residence in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Born June 7, 1943 the Oneonta, Alabama native was the daughter of the late Lottie Lou (Bentley) Horton and James Webb Horton and wife of the late Aubrey Lynn Ryals. Pamela was born in Oneonta and lived in many places (including Birmingham where she attended Birmingham Southern College and was a member of Pi Beta Phi), the northeastern US, including New York City and New Jersey, and returned to Birmingham in 1995. She is survived by Benjamin Ferrell (Sonja) of Columbus, Mississippi, Ann Ferrell (Brent Bjorkman) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Stephanie Elswick (Michael) of Center, Texas and Stacy Ryals (Tammy) of Hamilton, Mississippi and twenty-one grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom carry on her passion for peace and justice.
