Pamela Eileen Ogden, 75, loving Daughter, Wife, Mother and Grandmother, passed away on January 4, 2025, in Rexburg, Idaho.
Pam was born on April 9th, 1949 in Rexburg, Idaho to Tom and Eileen Kershaw. She was raised mainly in Ammon, Idaho, where she attended Elementary School, and graduated from Bonneville High School. She attended Ricks College, and then graduated from Brigham Young University in 1970, with a degree in Education.
Pam taught five years in Sacramento, California, and then twenty-four years at Sugar-Salem Schools, until her retirement. She met her future husband, David Ogden, while attending BYU in Provo, and was married on December 28th, 1973 in the Idaho Falls Temple after David returned from his mission. Pam went on to obtain a fifth year of upper graduate education, as well as a special certificate to teach in the Gifted & Talented Program.
Pam has served in various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, including, Relief Society and Primary. Her real passion were her family and all the students she taught. She was dedicated to their well-being, and will be remembered for the legacy she left.
She is survived by her husband, David Ogden, her three children, Marcus (Anya) Ogden of Rigby, Idaho, Jason (Kaylee) Ogden of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Emily Ogden of Rexburg, Idaho, her mother Eileen Kershaw of Sugar City, Idaho, and eleven grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father Tom Kershaw.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on January 9th, 2025, at the Heritage Park Ward chapel, 6 N. Teton Ave., Sugar City, Idaho. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, at the Flamm Funeral Home, located at 61 North 1st East, Rexburg, Idaho, and on Thursday from 10 to 11 am Heritage Park Ward chapel immediately preceding the funeral services. Burial will be at the Sugar City Cemetery in Madison County, Idaho under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home.
