Pamela A. Mahan-Weldon, 66, of Manchester, NH died November 29, 2021, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester, NH on March 9, 1955, she was the daughter of David H. and Marion (Donegan) Mahan. She was a lifelong resident of the Queen City.
Pamela graduated from Manchester Memorial High School, Class of 1973. She earned a bachelor's degree from Notre Dame College.
Until her retirement, she was employed with the State of New Hampshire Employment Security for more than twenty years.
She was a devout Catholic.
Pamela will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was fond of her nephews who brought her endless pride and joy. Pamela loved decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas. Those who knew her will never forget her warm smile and sense of humor. She will be deeply missed and her memory held dear by her family and friends.
Family members include her beloved husband of thirty-five years, Gary Weldon; a sister, Linda Mahan and her significant other, Gary Ulbin of Manchester; four nephews, Matthew Mahan and his wife, Lisa, Patrick Mahan and his wife, Jessica, Daniel Fallu, and Andrew Fallu; a great-niece, Emilia; a great-nephew, Conor; two aunts, Marguerite Allen and Barbara Lheureux.
The family wishes to express its gratitude and appreciation to the staff of VNA Hospice Manchester, for the kind and professional care they gave Pamela.
Services: Calling hours are Monday, December 6, 2021, from 4 to 7 PM at Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH. At the request of the family, masks are appreciated.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021, with a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 12 PM in the chapel of Saint Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell Street, Manchester, NH.
Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
