Pam Kay Schipper, age 61, of Flandreau, passed away on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Flandreau. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at Skroch Funeral Chapel in Flandreau.
Pamela “Pam” Kay Schipper was born on Saturday, March 3rd, 1962 to James and Darlene “Dar” (Peper) Mulder in Brookings, SD.
She began her education in Egan, SD, before moving to Flandreau where she would attend school and graduate in the class of 1980. Upon Graduation, she began studies at Nettleton College where she studied business.
On August 24, 1983 she was united in marriage to Cameron Schipper in Pipestone, MN. To this union, they were blessed with their children, Rowden and Lacey and they family lived in Flandreau.
In 1985 Cameron passed away.
Pam was then blessed with her third child, Serenity. Family was the most important to her and she cherished her time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Pam also passionate about her crafting; when she found time she enjoyed knitting, and bead work. She enjoyed making quilts and afghans and was an expert at crocheting. She also like to read. Pam was a social person so spending time with friends meant a lot to her. Most of all, she was a devoted grandmother, her grandkids were number one in her life and she loved spending time with them.
Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Loren Schipper, AZ, Brian Schipper and his wife, Julie, Flandreau, SD, Leah Swanson and her husband, Robert, Adell, IA, Lacey Schipper and Corey Van Dyke, Flandreau, SD, Rowden Schipper and his wife, Brittney, Flandreau, SD, Serenity Bianas, Flandreau, SD; siblings, Colleen Headrick and her husband, JD, IL, and Doug Mulder, Flandreau, SD; grandchildren, Cameron Schipper, Carson, Eleahna, Caedon, and Colton Van Dyke, Masen, Davien, and Amelia Schipper, Keelan, Letty, and Malcom, Mikayla Larson, Hannah and Dalton Schipper, Dustin Schipper and Cassidy Swanson, Logan and Taylor Bell; in-laws, Clayton and LeAnn Schipper, Flandreau, Lloyd and Jeanette Schipper, Sioux Falls, and Lorenda and Denis Bell, Keystone, SD; niece and nephew, Alyssa and Kelby Headrick; great niece, Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Mulder, husband, Cameron Schipper, son, Troy Schipper, mother and father-in-law, Case and Edna Schipper.
