Nan Cofer Christie, age 80, died August 24, 2018. Nan had lived for the past year in Loganville, Georgia but was a long-time resident of Marietta, Georgia. Nan graduated from Brown High School and attended the University of Georgia. She raised her children, Chuck Christie and Carla Christie Herrin, in Atlanta and Marietta working for VWR Scientific. Nan was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Chattahoochee in Atlanta and then First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. A memorial service and picnic will be held on September 8, 2018 at 2:00pm, First Baptist Church of Powder Springs, 4430 North Ave., Powder Springs, GA 30127.
