Claire Martin passed away on 26 March 2018, in Boulder, Colorado. She was born Claire Catherine Jones to parents Clair Devere Jones and Mary McGowan on 6 December 1933 in Los Angeles, California. Claire grew up in San Francisco with her half-sisters Helen and Mary Alice and her brother Richard. She attended St. Anne's grammar school, then the Dominican Convent High School in San Rafael. Claire went on to Marimont College, where her brother Dick introduced her to her future husband, Henry Chester "Chet" Martin. They married 12 February 1955, in Los Angeles, California. Herman Sahr, 78, of Chippewa Falls, formally of Farnhamville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family Thursday, March 22, 2018. Herman Alfred Sahr was given life by his Creator and was born Sept. 29, 1939, to Ernest and Sylvia (Marquis) Sahr in Lake City, Iowa. After graduation from Cedar Valley High School in Somers, Iowa, he served three and one half years in the U.S. Air Force where he was trained as a dental technician. On Oct. 24, 1964, Herman married Sharon Cline at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Farnhamville. The couple resided and raised their four children in Storm Lake, Iowa. It's with a very heavy heart to tell you that on March 27, 2018 - Jerry Callahan, age 71, completed his journey here on earth after a long battle with dementia. Louie served in the Korean war and later married Stella Alvarado. Louie and Stella went on to work for many years together at the Los Angeles County Fair. The homestead was located off of Route 8 going out of Titusville, Pennsylvania.
