My grandmother was a wonderful woman she would tell stories of how she came to New York when she was a little girl with her brothers, sister and parents. She was a devowed Catholic and loved to teach us about God. She made sure that we went to church every Sunday and taught us about communion. When I was 10, she died of cancer, she was in so much pain I remember her crying on the couch and I would come and sit on her lap. Give her hugs and just love her. After she died, I remember I would talk to her and tell her how much she is missed.

As Peggy told it, she proudly looked up at her mom and said, "Peggy". She told me she just thought Peggy was a very pretty name for a girl. Peggy was retired from XEROX and upon retiring, moved back to McQueeney, TX to care for her elderly stepfather, who she loved dearly. Honestly, Peggy loved everyone dearly... even if she had just met you. I only knew Peggy a few short years and in that time we became very close. Although we never met, daily...
