Owen Dwight Fazenbaker, Jr., 64, of Grantsville, MD, died Thursday, May 7, 2020, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. Born May 10, 1955, in Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of the late Owen and Wilda (Beeman) Fazenbaker, Sr. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Fazenbaker. Mr. Fazenbaker was a timberman and also worked at the Friendsville Overlook. He was a 1974 graduate of Turkeyfoot High School. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kim (Henson) Fazenbaker; one son, Vincent (Lisa Leydig) Fazenbaker; two daughters, Stephanie (Christopher Lovitt) Fazenbaker and Vanessa (Richard Klein, III) Fazenbaker; three brothers, John (Pam) Fazenbaker, Charles Fazenbaker and James (Tonya) Fazenbaker; three sisters, Wanda Hauser, Brenda Shaffer and Ethel Fazenbaker; seven grandchildren, Gabriel, Daniel, Claire, Emerald, Aiden, Skylar and Christopher, who is on the way. At his request, he will be cremated and private services will be held at a later date. Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, is in charge of cremation arrangements.
