Sara Gomez Noriega
03-04-34 to 09-02-20
Beloved parents of Sara (Hiram) Juarez and Oscar (Crystal) Noriega. Oscar and Sara Gomez Noriega were married in Mexicali on January 21, 1953. They were blessed to spend the next 67 together. Oscar and Sara were long time parishioners of Santa Clara church in Oxnard. Oscar and Sara moved to California in 1960 in search of a better life to start their family, and the promise of a more secure work for Oscar.
Oscar was born in Sonora, Cananea Mexico and Sara in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico. They relocated to Oxnard and decided they loved the city, and felt it is a great place to raise a family. Oscar was a professional truck driver and Sara was a house wife. They both dedicated their lives to provide a good life for their daughter (Sarah) and son (Oscar). They both worked very hard all their lives, and never took the joys of life for granted.
Oscar and Sara are survived by their children, Sarah (Hiram) Juarez of Goleta and Oscar (Crystal) Noriega of Camarillo. Grandchildren David Noriega, Kyla Noriega and Daniel Noriega and one great-grandchild Mateo Sebastian Noriega. Sara is survived by her two brothers, Henry and Salvador Gomez.
Oscar and Sara were very compassionate individuals that God put on this earth to make it a little bit better for all that had the opportunity to meet them. Oscar and Sara always loved to get a hug from all of her family and friends. Oscar was a bit more vocal and Sara was very soft spoken. They both had the opportunity to meet thousands of individuals during their lifetimes. I have no doubt they left thousands of fond memories in the hearts of many of these acquaintances over the years. Oscar and Sara have now transitioned to the other side to meet their Lord and Savior that they both loved so dearly. The surviving family has no doubt they both will become God's very special Angels that will be there to lend a helping hand to others that may need assistance making their transition from this earth.
Oscar and Sara will always be with everyone that loved them, because they will forever carry a piece of Oscar and Sara in their souls!
