Sergeant Major Oscar Jordan is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and an original member of the "Who Dat" Nation. He graduated from Alfred Lawless Sr. High School in 1988. He married high school sweetheart, Ronza J. Jordan (former wife) and to that union 1 child, Rondan Derrick Jordan. He had 30 years of exceptional military service. He enlisted into the Marine Corps in April 1989 and completed recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego CA, in July of same year. Truly he is loved and will be missed by many. His charismatic personality, his commitment to Corp and Country, his fanship to New Orleans Saints and his immense love for his son Rondan are all what he will be remembered. Those left to cherish his memory are his only son Rondan Derrick Jordan, (mother) Dorothy Ocranimpraim, (3 brothers) Larry Jordan, Corey Jordan, and Joshua Jordan; (3 sisters) Geneva Jordan, Celeste Jordan and Sawishi Jordan. He is also survived by many other loving family members to include beloved sister/cousin Marianna Jordan Allen, dearest Aunt Tippy Osbey, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, Ronza Jordan (former wife 2x), Marine Corp brothers & sisters and many close friends like his "to the bitter end to the bone" Gregory White.
